All information about congestion, road construction, and weather that could affect traffic (fog, snow, hard rains or ice) are now at available to travelers, via Bluetooth, WI-FI or by a simple internet connection on a mobile website.

These brand new services are provided by Autovie Venete (caretaker of the highways A4 Venice-Triest, A23 Palmanova- Udine South, A28 Portogruaro-Pordenone-Conegliano, Mestre’s ring road A57 from km 16-161 to 26+661 Km, and of the RA 17 spur road Villesse-Gorizia) to improve highway traffic flow.

Knowing in real time the condition of the motorway allows you to modify your journey or to wait until problems clear up (like car accidents, traffic jams, and obstacles on the highway) in rest areas where your stay is more comfortable.

This simple, brand new service joins the ones already active on the Autovie Venete network such as the web site (www.autovie.it), Infopoint, radio information, the automated hotline (0432 925 111- 040 3189 111), SusViaggiando (paiduse number, 89 24 89) and the periodic newsletter.

This range of services make the best use of traditional and more advanced technologies, in order to assure efficient access to every traveler.

The experimental Bluetooth and WI-FI system is now available in the Gonars’ rest area where it’s possible to receive real time news about traffic. This is an experimental system that will be soon extended to all motorway rest areas within the jurisdiction of Autovie Venete.
