Proposition

The solution
A survey is a statistical method used to quantify the proportions of various characteristics in a population from the analysis of a subset of that population, known as a sample.
“From Wikipedia, “The Free Encyclopedia”
Meeting this need was the inspiration for creating Proposition, a digital tool that uses new communication channels like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to enable businesses to hear their customers’ views on their products/services and related matters.
Proposition offers a clear practical benefit for the companies that use it: the continual improvement of the quality of a product and/or service (so that it meets user/customer expectations) is only possible if the level of customer satisfaction is actually measured.
Surveys with Proposition are an excellent means of acquiring a deep understanding of the needs that the customers express via their responses; maintaining a constant focus on their views is essential in order to develop and enhance the potential for dialogue and communication between service providers and consumers.
Measuring customer satisfaction enables companies to relate to their users; an ever increasing effectiveness in evaluating and understanding customer needs allows them not only to optimise their approach to delivering products and services but above all to obtain direct feedback that can be used to re-engineer them.
Proposition brings all these opportunities together in one plug-and-play device, which is fully and independently controllable by the company using it, through a user-friendly web interface: this ensures that the survey can be accessed – and its statistical data updated – in real time.
Why choose Proposition as your main “People Satisfaction” tool?
In comparison with the traditional channels, Proposition speeds up the process of implementing and publishing a survey considerably. If we consider the Web, the benefits of immediacy are clear: with Proposition, people can participate directly from wherever they are, without the need for any remote connection.
It also offers significant fixed cost savings (in terms of personnel and hours worked): just think, for example, of the effort involved in setting up a telephone survey.
How it works
The company and the customer communicate using the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi short-range transmission technologies.
The person responsible publishes the survey completely independently direct from their own PC, by accessing the Proposition system’s easy-to-use control panel over the network.
Users moving through the area covered by the system (in a range of about 50m) can, subject to acceptance, receive a multimedia video announcement via Bluetooth containing the details of the survey and instructions on how to use the service. It is also advisable to provide a dedicated display point near the system that offers detailed hard-copy information on how potential participants can access the service and express their views so that everyone can be made aware of this opportunity.
Once they have been informed of the chance to use the service at no charge, the users can then view the survey by using their mobile telephone to access the dedicated screen provided, which enables them to express their opinion in a direct and user-friendly way (the system will recognise responses as unique by detecting the MAC ADDRESS associated with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth feature of the mobile device used by the participant).
